We recently completed the building this detached 2 bedroom house in Kingswear Road, Ruislip on the former site of a derelict garage. The neighbours were initially against the the “backland” development, but now we have them coming up and thanking us for improving the street scene and probably therefore the values of their homes too. This before and after show shows the massive transformation.
Good things really do come on small packages!
This was evident in our development of a Terrace of 3 modern timber frame town houses in Surbiton Hill road, Surbiton.
Sometimes…. You just have to keep them!
We completed this development of a block of flats in High Street Harlington next to Heathrow airport and we loved them so much that we just had to keep them for our own portfolio!
Part of the planning requirements to allow our development to be built was that from the street scene, the house would appear to be a single detached house, when actually It is a pair of semi - detached houses in Marlborough road, Hillingdon.
When we built this development of 3 new build houses including the refurbishment of existing house in New Malden and construction of access road, we wanted to call the road London Builders Lane. Sometimes you just have to get over the ego and go with what is right, we ended up calling it woodies lane, which tied into the long associated history of the area.
